Additional Deputy Comptroller & Auditor General (Local Governance Audit)
Yashodhara Ray Chaudhuri is a 1992 Batch IA&AS Officer who is currently the Additional Deputy CAG working at the office of CAG of India. She is looking after the Local Government Audit Wing and is also the ex-officio Chairperson of the Governing Board of the BLoAC.
She is an M.A from prestigious Presidency College , Kolkata and is a creative writer, poet and translator in her personal capacity. During her Career she has served in various field offices of IA&AD in Kolkata, Ranchi, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar in Commercial Audit, Civil Audit and Accounts wings. She also served as FACAO Tea Board, under Ministry of Commerce.
She has done several foreign audits with elan including International Organization for Migration at Geneva and Manila; office of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia: Economic Commission for Africa: International Atomic Energy Agency at Vienna etc.
