Message from the Desk of Hon’ble President, ICAI
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has been at the forefront of promoting crucial reforms in the field of accounting in our country. ICAI’s commitment to working persistently in collaboration with the government underscores its dedication to the welfare of the nation.
ICAI has now collaborated with the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) of India to strengthen Accounting in Local-self Government in India (i.e.,third tier of Government). For the said purpose, Training Programmes are being organised to create a pool of competent accounting associates. These programmes can be attended anytime anywhere. These Training Programmes are not just an academic pursuit; they are a promise to the youth of our country with a commitment to provide them with the education and skill sets required to be part of the vital accounting workforce that will drive our grassroots governance and contribute to the nation’s growth.
