Shri Rahul Kapoor

  • Mr. Rahul Kapoor is presently holding the post of Joint Secretary & Mission Director (DAY-NULM & PMSVANidhi) in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Missions that aim to reduce poverty and vulnerability of the urban poor households in India. He has deep experience in the Urban Sector with his earlier association in the Smart Cities Mission in Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. He had varied experience in the field of Government infrastructure and finance having worked as Director Finance- PPP in the Ministry of Railways.
  • He has also worked as Director Banking in the Ministry of Finance, that has given him a good insight into the working of the banking industry. With a background in Economics, Mr. Kapoor is a part of the  Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) and is also a recipient of the National Award for Outstanding Performance while working in the Government.
